ORLANDO, Fla. (August 15, 2017) — Next month, the fourth annual Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) – taking place in Orlando, Fla. from September 11-14, 2017 – will feature Innovation Park, a new Exhibit Hall attraction that will change the way attendees experience North America's premier composites and advanced materials industry event.

"This year, we created Innovation Park to provide attendees with the ability to do more than simply walk around a hall, look at products and machines, sit in a classroom, or network at a reception," said Heather Rhoderick, CAMX show director. "We want to encourage attendees to actively engage with each other in new ways to help encourage discussions that may lead to new opportunities or solutions to shared challenges, both at CAMX and once everyone returns home.  At the traditional trade show or conference, it can be difficult for interactions, learning and thinking to happen organically, so our goal with Innovation Park is to provide the atmosphere and tools to do this."

The park is comprised of specialized "zones" - tailored to the learning, networking and inspirational needs of CAMX attendees.  It will be the premier area of the show to form new connections and generate fresh ideas.

The park's Connection Zone will provide attendees a place to sit, meet in small groups to problem solve common issues, or take a break and relax.

Another way for attendees to get valuable information will be through Innovation Park's Presentation Theater, which will include presentations from exhibitors on their products and services, technical presentations from universities and companies and more. The theater will also include press conferences, announcements of the winners of ACMA's Awards for Composites Excellence (ACE), the inaugural xC Startup Competition, and more.

Finally, attendees are also encouraged to gain new insights from companies new to CAMX in the New Exhibitor Zone, and inside the park's Ask the Experts, attendees can get trustworthy, constructive answers to important questions from CAMX's pool of expert industry consultants.
