AKRON, Ohio — Welty Building Company named Bradley Ewing as president and chief operating officer (COO) of Welty Energy Business. In his new role, Ewing will have financial oversight and responsibility for growth, operations and project management of electric utility projects. He will lead a business unit transformation driven by Lean Building Science.

Bradley comes to Welty from NG Gilbert, where he served as executive vice president and COO. He brings over 30 years of energy experience, primarily at First Energy where he served as Vice President – Energy Delivery. He has proven himself a leader in cultivating customer and employee satisfaction and fulfillment, building high performance teams, and creating a continuous improvement culture.
