BirdDog recruitment and application tracking system will integrate with eCMS to assist customers to manage their application, recruiting and human resources activities

DES MOINES, Iowa (Feb. 17, 2015)—BirdDog announced that it has entered into a technology partnership with Computer Guidance Corporation, providing customers a tighter product integration between Computer Guidance Corporation’s eCMS Construction ERP Platform and BirdDog’s recruitment and applicant tracking solutions. The integration among these software solutions will enable commercial contractors to automate their human resources-related business processes from job posting, recruiting, hiring to employee, HR and benefits management. The two organizations will establish automated real-time integration of data exchanges and business workflows among the applicable software applications to offer additional functionality to their mutual clients. The technology partnership will enable commercial contractors to improve the acquisition and onboarding of their employees while also placing emphasis on employee retention and overall human resources management. According to the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, the construction industry is approaching a shortage of qualified or skilled labor. The study indicates that a majority of the 2 million construction workers who lost their jobs during the Great Recession have either retired or found careers in other industries while teens are being pushed toward college. With these trends, many construction companies are finding that they do not have enough skilled workers to fill the positions available and their processes utilized in doing so are outdated, manual and inconsistent. “Organizations find it increasingly challenging to identify and hire top talent, especially in today’s labor shortage construction market,” said Todd Skokan, president and CEO of BirdDog. “The new integration with Computer Guidance’s ERP strengthens the entire human resources process from job application and recruiting to retention and administration.” For more information, visit BirdDog or Computer Guidance.
