SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (Oct. 17, 2024) — Felling Trailers Inc., a manufacturer of industrial and commercial trailers, has appointed Kevin Maves and Carl Thigpen to their outside sales team representing Felling Trailers in the western U.S. Maves now serves the southwestern U.S. region covering California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Thigpen now serves the northwest U.S. region, covering Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. In their roles, they are responsible for all sales development, activity and dealer support in their respective regions.
Maves’ career in the equipment industry started in 2005, working as an inside salesperson for an equipment rental company in the Las Vegas area. During his time there, he gained sales skills and developed a solid understanding of the equipment needs of various businesses. He learned to build strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions for his client’s rental needs. It was here that he first came to know the Felling Trailers brand. After some time working in the pharmaceutical industry, Maves felt a pull back to the equipment industry, which led him to Felling Trailers.
Thigpen brings a wealth of knowledge with over three decades of experience in the heavy equipment transportation sales and rental industries. Before joining Felling Trailers, Thigpen held key roles as owner, manager, driver and territory manager where he gained a deep understanding of the equipment and transportation industries. He achieved significant market growth, established solid relationships, and provided product demonstrations and training.
