BOISE, Idaho (April 6, 2016) – Guerdon Modular Buildings has won five awards in Modular Building Institute’s (MBI) Awards of Distinction competition at the 2016 World of Modular Conference in San Diego, California. The annual event showcases the modular construction industry’s best work, and rewards projects that demonstrate architectural excellence, technical innovation, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency and calendar days to complete. Four of Guerdon’s five awards were given to projects based in Yellowstone National Park.
“Many of the challenges that face construction today – finding skilled labor, maintaining quality, speed-to-market, mitigating risk – can be overcome with modular technology,” said Lad Dawson, CEO of Guerdon Modular Buildings. “The diverse range of projects entered in this year’s Awards of Distinction demonstrate that modular construction can be a solution for almost any type of build. The increasing adoption of the modular process across the U.S. is a testament to the success of the entire industry.”
