PLEASANTON, Calif. (February 9, 2017) – IronPlanet announced further details and the daily schedule for its upcoming Florida Cat Auction Services Unreserved Public Auction. Following the success of its 2016 Florida sale, this year’s event will be held over four days in order to meet the needs of the dozens of featured Caterpillar dealers, leading OEMs, dealers, construction companies, rental companies, financial institutions and other large fleet owners that have consigned equipment. The auction has generated significant early activity on IronPlanet's global platform with participants from 122 countries around the world.
Ring Power Corporation of St. Augustine, Florida, one of the largest Cat dealers in North America, is again hosting the auction this year. IronPlanet’s major East Coast Unreserved Public Auction will feature a wide range of late-model, low-hour equipment from Caterpillar, Volvo, John Deere, Komatsu, JLG, Genie and more. The event will also include an expanded inventory of items from additional OEMs and sellers that give buyers an improved opportunity to purchase additional equipment.
Further, IronPlanet will feature real-time on-site event management and mobile-enable many aspects of the sale, from registration and attendance reporting to vendor CRM.
