NATIONAL (March 29, 2017) – SolidProfessor and Solidworks announced a certification partnership to offer paths to the Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) and Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) exams. Now, SolidProfessor Technical Certificates provide pathways to these industry certifications.
Mike Puckett, senior manager, worldwide certification program at SOLIDWORKS, said, “For nearly 20 years, the SOLIDWORKS Certification Program has been helping users all around the world demonstrate their skills to peers, potential employers, and maybe even a boss or two! As our community of certified users approaches 250,000 this summer, the ability to train and certify new users is even more important. The CSWA and CSWP Pathways from SolidProfessor is an important step in the journey of a Solidworks user to obtain one of our industry recognized certifications, and I'm glad to see that one of our oldest partners has created this for our community. This is a program that I'm sure will help us achieve our goal of making certification available to everyone.”
SolidProfessor CEO Tony Glockler shares why they are focused on certification. “The CSWA and CSWP exams are robust, covering a lot of skills and requiring both accuracy and speed. SolidProfessor and Solidworks have partnered to offer a pathway to industry certification through achieving ‘stepping stones’ of specific technical certificates. Earning certification can help engineers get a job or move up in their current job by demonstrating key industry skills and competencies. Solidworks is developing more capabilities than ever. Gaining new skills and showcasing your achievements through certification will help engineers and designers stand out to employers, get a promotion or earn a raise. Certification demonstrates both your dedication to improving your skills and also your technical knowledge. Obtaining a certification proves that you not only have comprehensive Solidworks knowledge, but that you also have invested in your career and yourself.”
