MARLTON, N.J., Feb. 17, 2012 - Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced that it has promoted 13 executives throughout the company.
David Brodie-Stedman of Hill's Abu Dhabi office has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the combined Asia, Middle East and Africa regions for Hill's Construction Claims Group.
Brodie-Stedman has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in construction claims analysis and resolution.
Brodie-Stedman holds a B.S. in quantity surveying from Northumbria University and an M.S. in quality engineering from the University of Newcastle.
Leslie Butterfield of Hill's Sydney office has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Hill's Australian operations. Butterfield has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in management consulting, project and construction management, quality assurance and quality control, and planning and scheduling. Butterfield holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Russell Lister of Hill's Sydney office has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Group Practice Leader of Management Consulting for Hill's Australian operations. Lister has over 28 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in management consulting, project management and procurement. Lister holds an M.S. in soil mechanics and engineering seismology from Imperial College London and a B.E. in civil engineering from the University of Canterbury.
David Merritt of Hill's Abu Dhabi office has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director of the Middle East and Africa region for Hill's Construction Claims Group. Merritt has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in construction claims, quantity surveying and international arbitration.
Merritt holds an M.Sc. in construction law and arbitration from King's College London and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He is also a Barrister in England and Wales.
John Milano, P.E., of Hill's New York City office has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy Regional Manager. Milano has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in construction management, business development and general contracting. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from Polytechnic University of New York and an M.S. in public administration from Bernard M. Baruch College. Milano is a registered professional engineer in New York.
John K. Skoury, P.E., of Hill's Irvine, California office has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Skoury has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry with expertise in managing major highway and rail transportation programs. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from California State University at Long Beach and is a registered professional engineer in California.
Vic Spinabelli, Jr., P.E., LEED AP, of Hill's Bethel Park, Pennsylvania office has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Spinabelli has over 28 years of experience in engineering, construction and project management in a wide variety of projects including education and commercial buildings, transportation and infrastructure. Spinabelli holds a B.S. in agricultural engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Kent Bolson of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office has been promoted to Vice President of Financial Systems. Bolson has over 14 years of experience managing financial systems. He holds a B.A. in Bible ministry and broadcasting from Northwestern College.
Tonya L. Compton of Hill's Irvine, California office has been promoted to Vice President. Compton has more than five years of business development experience in the real estate and construction industry.
Compton holds a B.A. in sociology from Chapman University.
Mark D. Dickinson, PMP, of Hill's Philadelphia office has been promoted to Vice President. Dickinson has over 22 years of senior management experience in construction and operations management. He holds a B.S. in business health management from St. Joseph's University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
David A. Stewart, CPA, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office has been promoted to Vice President of Taxation. Stewart has over 30 years of managerial experience in all aspects of corporate and partnership taxation. He earned a B.S. in business administration and accounting from La Salle University and an M.S. in taxation from Widener University. Stewart is a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania.
Barry Wicks of Hill's London office has been promoted to Vice President. Wicks has over 32 years of experience in the construction industry covering a wide spectrum of building and engineering projects and consulting assignments. Wicks holds an M.Sc. in construction law and arbitration from King's College London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Scott A. Wivell, P.E., LEED AP, of Hill's Bethel Park, Pennsylvania office has been promoted to Vice President. Wivell has 20 years of experience in project management and construction. Wivell holds a B.S.
in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.
