The Modular Construction Industry’s Best Event Returns
The Modular Building Institute’s 2024 World of Modular Returns to Orlando, March 18-21
Sponsored by: Modular Building Institute

The leaders and rising stars of the modular construction industry will gather again at the 2024 World of
Modular
in Orlando, FL, March 18-21, hosted by the Modular Building Institute (MBI), the world's largest
trade association for the commercial modular construction industry.

For over 40 years, MBI's annual World of Modular conference and tradeshow has provided modular
industry professionals a place to network, exchange ideas, learn from experts, discuss issues, display new
products, and receive well-deserved recognition. This annual event gives association members and non-
members alike the opportunity to meet peers from around the world for four days of unparalleled
industry education and business development.

"I have been to a LOT of industry shows," says Steve Dubin, Western Regional Sales Manager
(Residential) for Sika Corporation. "I can safely say [last year's 2023 World of Modular] was the most
successful industry show I’ve ever been too in terms of ROI from creating new relationships and follow-
ups."

Changes in 2024

While this year's World of Modular will include all the networking and fun attendees have come to
expect, MBI is renewing its focus on industry education in 2024. Five distinct tracks of breakout sessions
will be offered, totaling nearly 60 sessions across the conference's four days. Tracks include Design, Build,
Install; Development Opportunities; Managing Your Business; Research & Innovation; and Sustainable
Practices.

This year's speakers and panelists include modular manufacturers, designers, developers and more who
will speak on dozens of topics. In addition, multiple industry-specific government affairs and marketing
sessions will also be held.

The 2024 World of Modular will also feature expanded exhibit hall hours and live product
demonstrations.

A Welcome Return to Rosen Shingle Creek

The 2024 World of Modular will return to Orlando's luxurious Rosen Shingle Creek hotel and resort, just
minutes from the Orlando International Airport. The Rosen Shingle Creek was the location of the 2020
World of Modular, which--despite being affected by the first wave of COVID travel precautions--was one
of the MBI's highest-attended conferences. Attendance has continued to grow in 2022 and 2023; in
2024, MBI expects nearly 2,000 modular industry professionals from around the world.
"We have every expectation that the Rosen will be packed," says John McMullen, PCM, Marketing
Director at MBI. "Registrations are pacing ahead of last year. Booths are filling up quicker than last year.
Every sign is pointing to this being our biggest and best World of Modular yet."
The four-day event will kick off Monday, March 18th, with an afternoon of golf, orientation, and
networking before its formal start at the opening party that evening. The following days will include
more networking, grand prize contests and giveaways, marketing and media opportunities, and MBI's
2024 Awards of Distinction dinner and ceremony.

The Modular Construction Industry's BEST Event

In addition to its formal networking opportunities, World of Modular’s keynotes and top-notch
educational breakout sessions equip industry professionals with the latest knowledge in every facet of
modular construction. Attendees are immersed in a collaborative space where the brightest minds from
around the globe converge, share new skills and best practices, find ways to operate more efficiently,
and help develop the industry.

Lastly, attendees can expect to see and meet students from local trade schools, who, like in 2023, have
been invited to learn more about modular construction and to meet potential industry employers. The
MBI Educational Foundations is partnering again with Tremco's Rising Stars program to bring the
students to the event.

"It's great to see the industry gaining momentum and getting so excited for this event," says McMullen.
