Racine, Wisconsin(July 30, 2019)—CASE Construction Equipment and Tidewater Equipment supported Team Rubicon in a public service project and equipment training exercise at Camp Martha Johnson, a Girl Scouts camp in Lizella, Georgia. The training provided Team Rubicon heavy equipment operators and volunteers with valuable stick time and resulted in the complete demolition and removal of four obsolete structures on the site, as well as the cleanup and removal of past storm debris.

Equipment provided included a CASE CX130D excavator and TR270 compact track loader.

“As a non-profit organization, these property improvements would not have been possible without the work of Team Rubicon and the generous equipment donations from Tidewater and CASE,” says Ronald Holliday, property director, Camp Martha Johnson. “This work has improved access and safety at the camp and will improve the experience of thousands of campers here for years to come.”

Team Rubicon credits Tidewater Equipment for excellent local service and support that helped complete the work.

“Neil Skipper with Tidewater was pivotal in the completion of the work and was available to us over the weekend for support,” says Chuck Kretlow, Macon, Georgia, city coordinator, Team Rubicon. “This type of community improvement isn’t possible without the support of businesses like CASE and Tidewater.”

“Tidewater is a new CASE dealer that immediately recognized the value in our relationship with Team Rubicon and the good work we all do in working with non-profits and local communities,” says Michel Marchand, vice president, North America, CASE Construction Equipment. “This was a great training event with a great benefit to the community.”
