BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 14, 2014) -- Cahaba Media Group is happy to announce that it has added two employees to Construction Business Owner's sales department. Sonya Crocker has joined as the company’s marketing associate, and Sherry Smith has joined as national account executive for the magazine. Crocker has worked with sales teams for more than 20 years. Her experience includes supporting and training sales personnel for companies such as BellSouth, AT&T and YP Holdings. At Cahaba Media, she will manage marketing efforts and help coordinate sales-related activities. Smith has also held positions at YP Holdings and AT&T and has more than 10 years of sales experience. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated the ability to work closely with customers to help them determine their advertising goals and to reach those goals in the most effective ways possible. Most recently, Smith has specialized in prospecting new business for corporate marketing programs. “As we enter the next phase of growth in our company, it is critical that we retain and recruit top talent and have the administrative staff in place to continue to support our customers and sales force,” said Greg Meineke, Cahaba Media’s VP of sales. “Sherry’s history in media makes her a great fit for our organization, and Sonya is a true professional with an enormous amount of experience. I am excited about what they both can help us accomplish.” About Cahaba Media Group Founded in 2002, Cahaba Media Group is an independent and entrepreneurially driven publishing company based in Birmingham, Ala.
