PITTSBURGH (March 24, 2025) — Russell Standard, a provider of asphalt materials and pavement preservation solutions, announced key executive leadership changes.

After more than 12 years of dedicated service, Bob Huitt, senior vice president of asphalt materials, retired in March 2025. Throughout his tenure, Huitt played a pivotal role in advancing Russell Standard’s asphalt materials division, driving innovation and strengthening the company’s position in the industry.

As part of this transition, Mike Rowe, vice president of pavement preservation, was promoted to chief operating officer (COO), effective January 2025. Rowe, who has been with Russell Standard for 18 years, has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and a deep operational understanding of the company’s business. In this newly created role, he will oversee daily operations, ensuring continued growth and excellence across the company.

Additionally, John “Jr.” Shutsa will now oversee supply chain operations as vice president of business development and supply, further strengthening Russell Standard’s ability to deliver high-quality products and services efficiently.
