SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (November 16, 2016) – Felling Trailers conducted its fourth online auction of a FT-3 drop deck utility trailer to benefit a nonprofit organization. Felling Trailers wanted to bring awareness of and support to those individuals affected by brain tumors. Thus, Felling Trailers manufactured and painted one of its most popular trailers brain tumor gray and auctioned it online for 7 days during the month of November. Tredit Tire generously donated the wheels and PPG Commercial Coatings donated the custom metallic grey paint for this trailer and cause. One hundred percent of the $2,250 winning bid benefits the American Brain Tumor Association.
The mission of the ABTA is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis. The American Brain Tumor Association was the first and is now the only national organization committed to funding brain tumor research and providing support and education programs for all brain tumor types and all age groups.
Every day, 500 people are diagnosed with a brain tumor. They join more than 700,000 who are currently living with the fear, frustration and uncertainty a brain tumor diagnosis brings. There are more than 120 different types of brain tumors, which means there is no one answer to the brain tumor challenge.
