JLG and Godfrey's "Reaching Out at CONEXPO" campaign awarded Best Trade Show Marketing Strategy.

LANCASTER, Pa.—Business-to-business (B2B) marketing communications agency, Godfrey, and its client, JLG Industries Inc., received a Platinum Brand Builder Award for Best Trade Show Marketing Strategy from Hanley Wood, a trade-media company serving the residential, commercial design and construction industries. Godfrey and JLG received the award for their “Reaching Out at CONEXPO” entry. The multifaceted strategy campaign combined both digital and traditional marketing communication elements and was designed to create a more engaging experience for the 130,000 attendees at CONEXPO, an international construction equipment show held March 3-7, 2014, in Las Vegas. “We helped JLG create a unique trade-show experience for its customers, prospects and employees worldwide,” said Chuck Manners, Godfrey’s president and CEO. “The CONEXPO campaign was one of the most comprehensive and creative in Godfrey history.” The Brand Builder Awards honor building product manufacturers and their agency and marketing partners for outstanding achievement in marketing and communications for the residential and commercial design and construction industry. Winners were announced Sept. 10 during an awards ceremony at the 2014 Hanley Wood Foundation’s Conference in Chicago.
