CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – McWhorter Capital Partners is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of Pennant Construction Management Inc., a leader in commercial and residential historic building rehabilitation in Northwest Georgia. Pennant Construction Management, now McWhorter Goss General Contractors, joins McWhorter Capital Partners’ portfolio of companies, which include Horton Outdoor and Lakepoint Realty Group.
McWhorter Goss General Contractors, a Georgia licensed general contractor, has renovated and preserved some of Northwest Georgia’s most iconic buildings, including the 1869 Bartow County Courthouse in Cartersville, the Curry & West Buildings in Rome, and the historic GEM Theatre in Calhoun. The company also specializes in new construction of commercial buildings, recreation and education centers, industrial facilities, government projects, and luxury residential properties. Ron Goss, the founder of Pennant Construction Management, will serve as president of McWhorter Goss General Contractors.
