Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Oct. 26, 2023) — Online crane rental platform Mycrane has appointed Jason Brough as President, USA to lead its growth in the U.S.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Brough will use his extensive industry expertise in revenue generation, project management and sales and marketing to drive take-up of the world’s first online crane rental service in the U.S.
In the last 30 years, Brough has held various fabrication, construction and commercial roles. This included serving as business development director for engineering giant Mammoet in the Gulf Coast of the U.S., where he was engaged in large capital projects within energy, petrochemical, LNG, mining and metals.
In addition, he spent three years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a regional director for Mammoet, responsible for a large project pipeline working with the chemical, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
He also spent 20 years at JTI, which provides engineering, fabrication and installation of specialty piping systems for project owners, EPCs and industrial clients around the world.
Mycrane is a Dubai-based tech platform which can be used by those working in a wide variety of industries and sectors to hire cranes with a capacity of up to 750 tons quickly and efficiently. The company recently announced it has secured a substantial investment in a series A round to fund its expansion plans.
Globally, Mycrane currently has more than 3,000 registered customers, and more than 15,000 cranes available to hire at the free-to-use platform. In the U.S., Mycrane has a headquarters in Houston, Texas, and operates on a nationwide basis.
