WASHINGTON (March 30, 2015)—The National Demolition Association (NDA)’s 42nd Annual Convention and Expo, Demolition 2015, came to a close on Tuesday, March 24, after four days of creating valuable connections within the demolition industry. More than 1,100 attendees and 84 exhibitors gathered in Nashville, Tennessee, to network, learn and celebrate accomplishments in demolition. “It was great to see the turn out and support of the NDA membership at Demolition 2015.” states new NDA Board President, Peter Banks. “Everything from the education session to the expansive Expo demonstrated the progress of the demolition industry and our contribution to the profession.” Demolition 2015 highlighted NDA’s focus on industry education, reflected in the convention program. The education offerings provided an in-depth look at the demolition industry’s most pressing topics, including safety and health standards, environmental requirements and opportunities, workforce issues and management and government project management. The new addition of Fast & Furious education sessions proved to be standing room only events, compacting valuable lessons from industry thought leaders into 15-minute presentations. The Expo at Demolition 2015 was a major draw for attendees. Attendees were able to test new products and advancements in technology from companies such as Volvo Construction Equipment North America, All American Recycling and Company Wrench. Many attendees recognized that it was an added value to meet the new NDA leadership while onsite in Nashville. With Demolition 2015 behind them, the NDA team is focused on planning Demolition 2016 and continuing the success of the premier industry meeting. “We were extremely excited about the success of Demolition 2015. We now look toward the future and identifying ways to make the Annual Convention even more valuable for our attendees,” said Cheryl Caulfield, NDA executive director. Demolition 2016 will take place in Orlando, Florida, March 14-17, 2016. For more information, visit NDA.
