Dallas, Texas (July 23, 2019)—Ratliff Companies, a hardscape construction and real estate development company located in Lewisville, Texas, has named Bryan A. Robertson as chief executive officer (CEO). Robertson steps into the CEO role after leading the company as president since 2008 and acquiring the company in 2012. Booder McWhorter will move from the role of senior vice president and will now serve as president and chief operating officer (COO).

Ratliff Companies operating subsidiaries include Ratliff Hardscape, Ratliff Development and BARCO Development. The three entities function separately to serve a wide variety of markets in both the public and private sector.
Ratliff Hardscape offers general construction, concrete and masonry services. Ratliff Development offers real estate development services through its land acquisition and development of single-family and commercial projects. BARCO Development offers construction management services and entitlements of property primarily for single-family development on a fee basis.
During his time with Ratliff, Robertson instituted unique growth strategies to expand additional services in the construction and real estate industries. As CEO, he remains responsible for the overall vision and growth of all operating companies, and will focus on company growth, future planning, innovation and project procurement.
Prior to joining Ratliff Companies in 2008, Robertson served as vice president of Land Development for a multi-billion-dollar homebuilding company. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and started his career with a civil engineering firm in Dallas, Texas.
McWhorter will oversee all construction operations, estimating, project procurement and business development for Ratliff Hardscape. “Booder’s tenacity and operational skills, exemplified by our continued growth, is a testament to his long-term commitment to our company,” Robertson says.
McWhorter previously served as land manager for a multi-billion-dollar homebuilding company and has more than 20 years of engineering, civil construction and real estate experience. He attended Texas Tech University and started his career with a civil engineering firm in Dallas.
