PITTSBURGH (April 3, 2024) — Russell Standard, a provider of pavement materials, road preservation treatments and industrial asphalt solutions, has taken over operations at the only asphalt terminal in the state of Delaware, located in the city of Seaford. Formerly owned by ICP Group, the terminal serves counties, the Delaware Department of Transportation and contractors across the state.
Founded in 1929, Russell Standard has remained a family-owned business in the asphalt materials space. The company’s key partnerships include numerous departments of transportation, municipalities, counties, cities and consulting engineers across five operating states.
“We are dedicated to helping communities sustainably improve their roadway infrastructure through quality asphalt materials,” Matt Johnson, Russell Standard’s CEO. “And our customer care team is committed to serving as educational partners and advocates for treatment success. We are excited to show Delaware our commitment to our customers, eager to contribute to the community and are looking forward to building our partnership with the network of businesses already serving road owners across the state”.
