NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2015) —T. W. Frierson Contractor Inc. and Design Constructors Inc., both headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., have been selected as the design/build team to design and construct the new $48 million Polaris Industries Inc. manufacturing plant in the Huntsville, Ala., area. The 775,000 square-foot production facility is the first for Medina, Minn., based Polaris in the southern half of the United States, and will initially be producing the Ranger side-by-side utility vehicles. The plant will support several core processes, including vehicle assembly, chassis and body painting, welding, fabrication and injection molding. The facility under construction is located at 7049 Greenbrier Parkway, N.W., in Madison, Ala. Polaris initially intends to employ up to 1,800 workers.
