Meridian Energy Group Inc., the emerging growth refining firm and leading innovator in advanced technology and environmentally beneficial petroleum-processing facilities, announced today that the company has signed a letter of intent with Watco Companies,a leading rail-based transportation provider, under which Watco will serve as the main rail management contractor for the Davis Refinery with ongoing discussion for future developments.

“Florida has been a rapid growth market for NV5, where we have completed six acquisitions and experienced solid organic growth,” said Dickerson Wright, PE, chairman and chief executive officer of NV5.  “The acquisition of Page One continues to strengthen our capabilities and expand our client base in the aggressive Orlando construction market and also enhances our value proposition for adjacent Central Florida markets, such as Tampa and St. Petersburg.”

The project will satisfy a federal mandate to enhance protections for critical bridges around the country. The Delaware Memorial Bridges carries Interstate 295, connecting travelers from New York City to Washington, D.C., and the New Jersey Turnpike. The project is expected to cost $45 to $46 million.

The new headquarters building will support this mission with the latest in collaborative workspaces and forward-thinking office design.
