NEW YORK (September 8, 2017) – The Dodge Momentum Index moved lower in August, falling 2.4 percent to 129.1 (2000=100) from its revised July reading of 132.2. The Momentum Index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year.

The company is calling on its construction equipment and forklift dealers throughout North America to join in this fundraising effort before the end of the month.

(August 30, 2017) — Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $175,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Andersen Corporation is donating $100,000 of windows and doors to Houston Habitat for Humanity to help with rebuilding efforts.
NATIONAL — Volvo Construction Equipment, part of the AB Volvo Group, has completed the divestment of its wholly owned British dealership to SMT. The previously announced deal was followed by a period of employee consultation, and became effective in August.
