ABC, AIA and NAHB economists discussed leading present and future indicators for sector performance

(November 3, 2015) – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Chief Economist Anirban Basu, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Chief Economist Kermit Baker and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Chief Economist David Crowe predicted continued construction industry growth in 2016 during a recent joint economic forecast web conference.

These include a new owner/consultant agreement with two accompanying scope of service exhibits for surveying and geotechnical engineering, as well as six new forms for use on design-build projects

For the first three quarters of the year, construction added 121,000 seasonally adjusted (SA) jobs

WASHINGTON, D.C., (October 30, 2015) - September proved to be a good month for construction unemployment rates. The not seasonally adjusted (NSA) construction unemployment rates for the country and 48 states were down in September on a year-over-year basis. NSA jobs increased by 199,000 from September 2014 to September 2015.
