Princeton, NJ and Portland, OR (November 27, 2012) – The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) has selected Viewpoint Construction Software as a Principal Partner for a three-year term. This partnership provides CFMA and its members and chapters with a partner that will offer objective insight and direction on technology solutions, regardless of the provider, while giving Viewpoint a grassroots-level insight into the technology needs of construction organizations, specifically those related to finance, accounting, and project management – the areas for which construction financial professionals are primarily responsible. CFMA’s Principal Partner Program is a business to business program initiated this year to allow CFMA to further develop resources that are vital to members and provide value-added services to sponsors.

“We are pleased to have a company the caliber of Viewpoint to partner with in a new sponsorship program we launched this year,” said CFMA’s President and CEO Stuart Binstock, who attended Viewpoint’s annual User Conference, Collaborate 2012, to share the news with Viewpoint customers and partners. “Their consistent commitment to providing customers mission-critical, intuitive software solutions and a continuous focus on bringing efficiencies and cost savings to the construction market offers our members a huge benefit.”

“This new partnership is exciting for us on many levels,” stated Jay Haladay, CEO of Viewpoint. “The opportunity to partner with an organization that is dedicated to educating and supporting contractors of all types supports our commitment to the industry. The ability to participate in year-round CFMA activities and events will benefit our development and service teams. They will have a direct and continual line of communication with members, learning how to better serve industry needs now and cooperatively align the needs of the construction market and technology into the future.”

Founded in 1981, CFMA is the only organization dedicated to bringing together construction financial professionals and those partners serving their unique needs. CFMA serves more than 6,500 members via 89 chapters located throughout the U.S. and Canada. CFMA publishes an award‐winning magazine, CFMA Building Profits, and offers a variety of educational and professional development and connection programs through its chapter network, Annual Conference & Exhibition, and online self-study courses and webinars. CFMA membership provides construction financial professionals unique opportunities for industry networking, career development, and personal and professional growth.
