Portland, Ore. (Feb. 15, 2013) – The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) announced today the selection of Jay Haladay, Chief Executive Officer of Coaxis, Inc., dba Viewpoint Construction Software, as the 2013 Technology Executive of the Year. The award is part of the Oregon Technology Awards program, which celebrates excellence and achievement within the region’s vibrant technology community. Every year since 1984, members of the technology community select an Executive of the Year in recognition of the individual’s positive impact in the industry and the greater Oregon community.
As the CEO and owner of Viewpoint/Coaxis for more than 25 years, Jay Haladay has led an evolution of the company into a leadership position in its field. His vision and commitment to a strong culture of collaboration and transparency helped the company achieve significant growth over the past five years despite a challenging economy. Haladay’s contributions to the community range from his active participation in local economic development groups to transforming a run-down warehouse on the Willamette into the LEED Gold certified headquarters for more than 225 Oregon-based employees.
