WAKEFIELD, Massachusetts (March 1, 2016) -- Alliance Tire Americas (ATA) announced the opening of its fifth North American warehouse today in Bolingbrook, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. The 80,000-square-foot facility puts hundreds of OTR tires from Alliance, Galaxy and Primex—as well as Aeolus truck tires, for which Alliance serves as sole United States representative—within one or two day delivery to 90 percent of the U.S.

AEM provides market update & analysis

MILWAUKEE (March 3, 2016) - Exports of U.S.-made construction equipment ended 2015 with a 19-percent decline, compared to the previous year, for a total $13.9 billion shipped worldwide. All world regions experienced declines, led by Africa and South America, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), citing United States Department of Commerce data it uses in global market reports for members.

January new business volume down 12 percent year-over-year

WASHINGTON (February 24, 2016) — The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s (ELFA) Monthly Leasing and Finance Index (MLFI-25), which reports economic activity from 25 companies representing a cross section of the $1 trillion equipment finance sector, showed their overall new business volume for January was $6.0 billion, down 12 percent from new business volume in January 2015.

PLEASANTON, California (February 18, 2016) - IronPlanet sold more than 2,350 items for $93.8 million in gross merchandise volume, or GMV, at its Cat Auction Services unreserved public auction in Kissimmee, Florida, last week. GMV from IronPlanet’s 5-day sale held from February 8-12, 2016, increased 95 percent over GMV of $48 million for its 3-day sale in February 2015.
