Miron Construction Co. Inc. has announced the promotion of Tony Creten to vice president of Wausau operations. In his new role, Tony will manage Miron’s Wausau office and lead Miron’s efforts across all markets throughout Miron’s Northern Wisconsin operations.

The final piece of structural steel was recently installed at the Liebherr USA, Co. new headquarters building—a significant construction milestone. The $45 million expansion also includes state of the art warehouse and workshop facility and will add over 251,000 square feet to the campus. 

Case Construction Equipment celebrated 50 years of skid steer manufacturing with a ceremony on Wednesday, April 3, at its Wichita, Kansas, plant. Case first built skid steers in 1969 at its Burlington, Iowa, facility, before eventually moving production to Wichita. 

Engcon’s new computerized and fully robotized production facility, with nearly $10 million invested in new manufacturing equipment over the next 3 years, will triple its production capacity. Details here. 

Lucintel reports the global construction aggregate market is expected to reach an estimated $452.4 billion by 2024 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.7% from 2019 to 2024. The major growth drivers for this market are growth in residential and non-residential construction activities, increasing urbanization and rising per capita income.
