Trimble and Kobelco announced the introduction of a Trimble Ready option for select Tier 4 Final Kobelco excavator models. Select excavators that ship from the Kobelco factory are now ready for the installation of the Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform for excavators, which can significantly reduce the cost and complexity of the installation for the contractor. JCB is bringing production of the popular 505-20TC Loadall compact telescopic handler to its North American headquarters and manufacturing facility near Savannah, Georgia. Raleigh, North Carolina (May 7, 2018)—Stewart Engineers Inc. has signed an agreement with the Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC) to study and evaluate the construction of a new float glass manufacturing plant in Qatar.

The agreement was announced during the Qatari business delegation visit to Raleigh, North Carolina, to promote trade and investment opportunities between the U.S. and Qatar.

Superior Industries Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, says it has resolved its disputes with Masaba Inc. regarding Superior's truck unloader patents. As part of that resolution, Masaba has been granted a non-exclusive license to manufacture, sell and offer to sell Masaba truck unloaders under Superior's related patents. Following a review of the requirements put in place in 2016 regarding the “Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses” regulation, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has taken action to correct an error that was made with regard to implementing the final rule.
