Portland, Ore. (October 17, 2017) – Skyward, a Verizon company, has been approved to give commercial drone operators instant access to controlled airspace with the Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) services from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). NEW YORK (October 6, 2017) – The Dodge Momentum Index fell in September, moving 8.4 percent lower to 116.4 from the revised August reading of 127.1. The Momentum Index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year. Both components of the Momentum Index declined in September.
